Wildcat MicroFund

The Wildcat MicroFund, established in 2018 at Weber State University, provides early-stage entrepreneurs across Utah with grants of up to $3,000 to support the launch and growth of their businesses. Unlike traditional business competitions, the fund emphasizes execution by awarding funding based on the completion of specific milestones, utilizing frameworks like Lean Startup and Business Model Canvas to validate scalable business models. Since its inception, the Wildcat MicroFund has awarded over $780,000 to more than 300 entrepreneurs, fostering high-growth business opportunities throughout the state.
